Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation introduced Samskritam to its devotees through Samskrita Bharati faculty members.

Samskrita Bharati is a non-profit, organization working to bring Samskritam back into daily life through the 'Speak Samskritam' movement. The Speak Samskritam movement was introduced in the US 1995. The main thrust was to make Samskritam a conversational language and to bring about a social change through the medium of spoken Samskritam. The Breakthrough instructional technique has recieved massive support and is scaling from success to success. Hundreds of thousands of people (many without any prior knowledge of Samskritam) have participated in the camps and learnt how to Speak in Samskritam.

Family Retreat participants enjoyed the course and many were committed to speaking in Samskritam. On the last day of the Family Retreat the children played a hilarious Samskritam skit and sang the janma dinam song for Sri Somasundaram mama's 75th birthday.
