As part of the religious ceremonies preceding the Kumbhabhishekam, Ganapati homam, Sthana shuddhi and abhishekam of the deities that will be consecrated on the day of the kumbhabhishekam were performed. Many devotees had the rare opportunity to carry the idols of the dieties, raja gopurams and kalashams in their hands and proceed to the new temple premises.

Several customary pujas and homas were performed in the temples that are conducted prior to consecration of the idols.

The audiences were enthralled by excellent bhajan renditions during the evening.

All devotees present were blessed to get Bhimba Shuddi darshanam of Goddess Sharadambal.
