The Grand Kumbhabhishekam function is followed by Maha Yajnas at SVBF.

The Atirudra Mahayajna, Sata Chandi Yajna and Koti KumKuma Archana have all commenced here.

Priests who have arrived from India will be participating in these functions along with local Ritwiks from U.S.A participating in the Ati Rudram.

These Maha Yajnas span over 12 days and is one its kind.

Outside of India, planning and executing the 3 Mega events in parallel with priests from all veda shakhas in India after a Temple Kubhabhishekam, shows the strength and enthusiasm of the temple organisers and support from bhaktas.

All of us are truly blessed to witness and be a part of this mega event and get the choicest blessings from Lord Chandramouleshwara and Goddess Sharadamba.

Atirudra Mahayajna
Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday July 27, 2008

Ati Rudram is the highest form of Rudram recitation. It will be performed with the participation of 121 pandits reciting Rudra Mantra 11 times each day for 11 days making a total of 14,641, followed by Rundra homa by 11 pandits 11 times a day.

Sata Chandi Maha Yajna
Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday July 20, 2008

10 ritwiks will perform a total of 100 times the Chandi (700 slokas)with japa and homa in a span of 5 days.

Koti Kumkuma Archana
Thursday, July 17 to Sunday July 27, 2008

10 million (1 crore/koti) kumkuma archana with the recitation of Lalitha Sahasranamavali will be performed by 50 pundits for 11 days, and will be concluded with Lalita Homa on Sunday the 27th July.
