JĪRṆODDHARAṆA KUMBHABHISHEKAM 2024

Dear Devotees :

SVBF is the first overseas affiliate of the ancient Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, India. The first shrine of Sri Sharadamba, Sri Ganesha and Sri Adi Sankara was established in Stroudsburg, PA in 1995. In 2008, an authentic new temple for Sharadamba and other deities was constructed in the 70-acre scenic property with go-shala, yaga-shala, bhojana-shala etc. which is SVBF East.

Subsequently, the SVBF North Sharadamba Temple was consecrated on July 11th 2019 in Farmington Hills, MI and SVBF South Sharadamba Temple was consecrated on July 10th 2022 in Richmond, TX (greater Houston). The construction of SVBF West Temple near San Diego is underway.

With the Grace of Sharadamba and the blessings of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Teertha Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, India, SVBF is planning to conduct the “Jirṇoddharana Kumbhabhishekam” of our Sharadamba Temple, Stroudsburg, PA in the summer of 2024.

Preparations have started to shape the Temple and the Property to be ready for the Kumbhabhishekam event. SVBF requests all devotees to contribute generously towards this unique and special occasion. Sponsorship opportunities for the renovations needed to be completed for Kumbhabhishekam are attached here.
